The SEC Alumni Co-Ed Softball team is getting organized for the upcoming season. The season starts in a few weeks and the team is looking to add another championship to their storied history.

Summer Wiffle Ball

Regular season games start the week of June 1, 2010

We are looking to complete our roster for this summer's SEC wiffle ball team.  The team is in the casual league (through Zog Sports), so no experience required and looking for a few fun new additions to the team!  There are organized happy hours following the games.

Here are the details:

Players: five on five; (three girls and two men on the field per team).

Games: Six weekly games in regular season during the evenings Monday through Thursday.

Locations: Manhattan PS 111 Adolph S. Ochs (440 West 53rd Street between 9th Avenue & 10th Avenue), Three Stuyvesant Oval (off 14th Street Loop between Avenue A & Avenue B) and Riverside Park (between West 73rd Street & Riverside Park).
Cost: $85.00 per person.

The Staten Island Yankees are a minor league baseball team, located in the New York City borough of Staten Island. Affectionately nicknamed the "Baby Bombers", the Staten Island Yankees are a Short-Season A classification affiliate of the New York Yankees and play in the New York - Penn League at Richmond County Bank Ballpark along the waterfront in St. George, on the northeast tip of Staten Island, NY.

The New York Knicks Alumni Association Basketball Tournament

The New York Knicks are in the process of developing the "Knicks College Alumni Association Basketball Tournament." The New York Knicks would like to establish and build new relationships with the NYC alumni associations as well as provide a unique and entertaining networking opportunity for your association in conjunction with other alumni associations in the area.   

The opening rounds of this basketball tournament will  be played at the Sports Center at Chelsea Piers and the semi-final and the final rounds will be played on the Garden floor at the "World's Most Famous Arena", Madison Square Garden.   The tournament will be a sixteen (16) team event with each team consisting of 8-10 players that are graduates of your school.  We will fill the team spots on a first come, first serve basis.

When: October 16 & 17, 2010.
Where: Chelsea Piers Recreation Center and Madison Square Garden.
Price: $100.00 per player (includes uniform and tickets to a 2010-2011 Knicks game).
